Forms, fees & checklists

Planning fees and charges are set by the State Government and vary depending on your application. For combined permit applications (where more than one fee applies) the amount payable will be the sum of the highest of the fees which would have applied if separate applications were made and 50% of each of the other fees which would have applied if separate applications were made.

Please note the following fees and charges are calculated based on the current 2024-2025 financial year unit indexation rate as derived from the Department of Treasury and Finance Victoria. The current fees are derived from the Planning and Environment Act 1987.

Under Regulations 10 and 13 of the Planning and Environment (Fees) Regulations, statutory fees are cumulative. If your application falls into several categories, the highest fee and 50% of each of the other fees which would have applied if separate applications were made are payable.
