Our libraries are among the busiest places in the Shire. Libraries, often referred to as the ‘third place’ or the ‘community lounge room’, are a hive of social activity containing more than just books (we also have access to millions of those as well!).
Our staff are book lovers, tech gurus (and happy to have a great crack at helping you out with your phone or device), local fonts of knowledge, champions at craft, lovers of chocolate, always entertaining, usually quite colourful and up for a chat. Come in and make a new friend.
Council manages four libraries across our municipality at Clunes, Creswick, Daylesford and Trentham. Hepburn Libraries is a member of the shared library services provided by Central Highlands Libraries and is a Libraries Victoria Card Library.
