Congratulations to Daylesford and District Horticultural Society, Daylesford Lawn Tennis Club, Creswick and District Senior Citizens and Sprung Circus Incorporated, who will share in $8,559.42 as part of Hepburn Shire Council’s first round of grants for 2021/2022.

Council is supporting a project to celebrate spring; a display of historic images, information and memorabilia related to the Daylesford Lawn Tennis Club; an update to the seniors’ kitchen at Creswick; and an end-of-term performance for young circus performers.

“It’s great to see such an interesting and varied range of projects that will benefit community members of all ages,” said Mayor, Cr Lesley Hewitt.

“This funding helps to bring colour and fun to our community, which we wholeheartedly support,” she said.

Community groups are encouraged to apply for a community grant in the various categories including sustainability, children’s programs and small equipment grants.

The next round of grants will open on 1 October.

The successful projects and organisations for this round are:
