The Council Plan 2025-2029 is being developed from a range of contributions, including a Deliberative Engagement Panel made up of community members from across the Shire. It's now time for the wider community to have their say on the Plan's priorities for our services and amenities. Complete the survey on our Participate Hepburn webpage before Sunday 27 April. Hard copies at libraries and hubs.
Due to the multiple public holidays, there are some impacts to Council's services and offices.

At its special Council Meeting this evening, Council appointed Director Community and Corporate Services Bradley Thomas to the role of Interim CEO, while a recruitment campaign for a permanent CEO commences.
This follows the recent resignation of Evan King and his appointment as CEO at the City of Ballarat.
Hepburn Shire Council Mayor Cr Lesley Hewitt said that Bradley Thomas had shown great leadership in his role as a Director, but also as Acting CEO at various times over the past two years.
“Bradley has over 12 years’ experience in Local Government and has the skills and knowledge to successfully lead the organisation.
"He has worked at the City of Greater Bendigo and Mount Alexander Shire Council in leadership roles.
"Bradley is currently the President of FinPro, the peak body of Victorian Local Government Finance Professionals, further evidence of the high regard in which he is held in the field.”
Mr Thomas said it was great to see Councillors showing faith in the organisation's internal leadership.
“My appointment to the role means an easier transition for the organisation as the recruitment process for a permanent CEO is initiated.
“I’m looking forward to continuing the implementation of important projects across the shire, and in particular it will be fantastic to work with Councillors and the community on the Hepburn Together project over the coming months,” said Mr. Thomas.
