Hepburn Shire Council will support nine local groups to deliver a variety of projects as part of the latest round of Council’s Community Grants.
“We are supporting a wide range of projects through these grants, including a self-guided walking booklet to be developed by the Daylesford and District Historical Society, a laptop for the Trentham Trumpet, instruments for Creswick Brass Band and solar panels for the Mt Prospect Tennis Club,” said Mayor, Cr Tim Drylie.
Other projects include an Indigenous component for Cresfest, power supply for work benches at the Cool Country Men’s Shed in Trentham, a new stove at the Creswick Smeaton RSL, interactive cyber safety training for students at Creswick Primary School and support for the Clunes Men’s Shed to investigate is expansion.
“It’s such a diverse collection of projects, and Council is very pleased to be able to once again contribute to our community in this way,” said Cr Drylie.
The next round of Community Grants opens on 8 February and closes on 1 March.
